DAVIDsTEA Goji Green

The tea of the month for July at Davids Tea was Goji Green.  I was on the fence if I wanted to get this one as green teas are not typically my favorite and fruity green teas can either be amazing or really bad.  After reading a lot of reviews I decided that I would try this one.  Since I live about an hour and a half from the closest store I had to order this one.  The one thing that I don't like about Davids is that their shipping is $9.95.  This is crazy! The ingredients in Goji Green are green tea, rosehips, orange peel, hibiscus, goji berry, black currant, raspberry, stevia extract and natural and organic pomegranate flavoring. Ok, so, I will ignore the fact that they put stevia in yet another tea. sigh.... so, the tea steeps up to a deep, cherry red.  The body is thin and what one would expect from a green tea.  It smelt just like cherry kool-aid mix.  The flavor is that of fresh, juicy red berries with just a hint of green tea taste in...

Harney and Sons Hot Cinnamon Sunset

This stuff is amazing.  There, I said it.  I see this tea every time I go to Target and never bought it as I thought it was just an herbal tea.  I was there the other day and saw this and actually read the package and saw that this is a black tea with cinnamon.  I love black tea, it is my favorite variety of tea so I had to try this.  As soon as I opened the tin my nose was hit with the intense smell of sweet cinnamon.  This smell simply intoxicating.  I wish I could make a perfume out of this smell!  I brewed a cup with boiled water from my Breville Tea Maker and just added some rock sugar.  I was in love at the first sip.  I can't recommend this enough.  I am actually going to order the little Tagalaong tin from Harney and Sons so I can have some of this in my purse to carry with me.  I like to bring my own tea instead of drinking the substandard tea bags that a lot of resturants and hotels stock.  The cinnamon taste is ...
